Soccer

Sylvania Heights Soccer Club is now in its 58^th season and has approx. 595 registered  players from under 6 right through to senior grades for men and women.

Junior Boys/Men from U6 to U21 play each Saturday from late March through to August.  Girls from U6 – U16 also play on a Saturday. At Sylvania we actively encourage all girl sides in any age, however from W12 and up this is part of the Association competition.

Men and Women, Over 21 (“All Age”), that is; the Over 30’s Women, the Over  35 Men  and Over 45 Mens teams all play on Sundays. W16, W18 and W21 girls also play on a Sunday.

Preseason training, coaching sessions and trial games normally commence during early February.

Uniforms
All playing uniforms (jersey, shorts and socks) can be purchased from the Club at time of registration at a very reasonable cost of $55. Shin pads and boots will need to be purchased separately. Additional Club apparel – polo shirts, hoddies, spray jackets, sporting bags and caps are available through our canteen during the playing season.

General
Each team has a coach and a manager (usually parents) who organise the team, book training sessions and generally look after the welfare of the players. Each team will be rostered throughout the season for ground set up and canteen duty.

Meetings
General meetings are held once a month with the AGM held in July. All Club information is best accessed via our Web site
